What do I need to be able to use the EVEVIDEO suite of products?
In almost all cases you’ll already have what you need which is a relatively modern phone with an upto date browser (we recommend Chrome), camera, microphone and internet connection. Our system works with over 87% of smartphones currently in use and is compatible with iOS 12.5, iPhone 5s upwards and Android 6 Samsung/Huawei and most other major manufacturers using Android.
All laptops and desktops with a modern upto date browser, microphone, webcam and internet connection are supported. On mobiles you must have a minimum 4G connnection. According to network providers, 99% of the UK population enjoys 4G coverage.Do I need to have technical skills in video and audio to manage the files and share them?
Users don’t need any technical skills as all the video, audio and transcription file management is handled by the system. The system generates a link which you can copy and embed into any document where the evidence gathered needs to be made available and references this one source.
What happens if I don’t have an internet connection? Can I still use the system?
Just think of our connectivity like a WhatsApp call. If you don’t have an internet or data connection then you can’t make the call. Same goes for EveVideo. However in those rare instances you do not have an internet connection simply take the video locally with your camera and then when you have an internet connection login to evevideo and upload it so it can be managed just like any video you took wth our system. The only difference is the video will be marked as uploaded. This makes sure that anyone accessing the video knows it was taken outside our system.
Can I integrate the EVEVIDEO suite into our systems?
You can integrate any part of the EVEVIDEO suite into your systems.
I have thousands of users. Will it affect the performance of the system?
No. Our system is infinitely scalable. As we grow we use the combination of increased instances and load balancing to ensure the the EVEVIDEO Suite performance remains fast and robust.
I would prefer my own standalone system. Can I have one?
Yes, you can. We will work with you to understand your requirements and provide a quote for installation, maintenance and support.
My video is not showing.
This coule be because you are using a non standard browser, have a VPN active or have extensions that disable WEBRTC video by default. Check by opening the video link using the recommended browser with extensions and VPNs disabled.
